How to Order
We have tried our best to make your tour of our site as convenient as possible. There are three different types of products we are offering for sale in our website.

1. Dried Insect Supply

  • We are retailing all types of dried insect papered specimen over this website. You can just browse through our catalog and purchase online.
  • All data pertaining to each specimen is displayed. Images of each insect can be viewed in larger format.
  • To view our product immediately, you can just browse through our online catalog by clicking on the Insect Family Chart or using the quick access bar to select your desired Class, Family and subfamily if any.
  • All prices shown are in US dollars.
  • All price quote does not include freight. There will be a small amount of freight charge added to the invoice upon check out.
  • Freight Charge is for shipment not exceeding 2.5KG. Extra charges will be added for shipment exceeding 2.5KG
  • By clicking to select your desired species, it will then lead you directly to our Shopping Cart system.
  • There is a minimum order of US$100 per order.
  • Click View Shopping Cart to add or edit your chosen species and/or quantity. This will allow you to see your grand total charges with the Shipping and Handling fees, and Malaysian Wildlife Exportation & Inspection fees. Click Check Out when finished.
  • All shipment will be accompanied with appropriate wildlife Export and Inspection permits. CITES species will be accompanied with additional CITES certificate and export permit.
  • This will then direct you to a registration form for first-time buyer to fill in. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders and enables us to contact you regarding the order.
  • In the registration form you are required to give certain contact information (such as name, email address, company name & address, country of origin etc.). This information will serve as our communication tools to contact you about our services and new products on our site for which you have expressed interest.
  • After Clicking the Submit button below the registration form, you'll then be led to your Shopping Cart details for final edit if necessary. Click Pay Now to proceed to the WorldPay credit card paying system.

2. Leppidio Gifts (Insect related gifts & souvenirs)

  • Leppidio is the registered trademark of b & i Horizon Sdn. Bhd.
  • We are retailing Leppidio Insect Gifts line of products within this website to major countries except for Country of Malaysia, United States of America and Australia. 
  • We have tried our best to make your tour of our site as convenient as possible. To view our product immediately, you can just browse through our online catalog by clicking on the department links on the left side of your screen inside the link named Leppidio Products. Products and prices are updated monthly. 
  • The easiest way to place an order is by using our Shopping Cart system and purchase online.
  • All prices shown are in US dollars.

  • Wholesale Buyers, please proceed the the Wholesale Link to register for an account to view the entire range of products. Pricelist will be supplied separately. There is a minimum required production time for certain categories of our range of products. This information can be found in each item's remark. The duration is an estimated time required to produce the product if it is stated out of stock. However, if quantities ordered are substantial, then we will inform you the approximate time required.

3. Live Insect Supply

  • The following information is applicable for live butterfly pupae and invertebrate supply.
  • To immediately view our available list of species that we breed, you can just browse our online chart by clicking on the department links on the left side of your screen inside the link named live butterfly and invertebrate supply . This chart will allow you to further understand the varieties of butterflies and invertebrates that you might be interested in and also the period of their availability throughout the year.
  • The easiest way to place an order is by using our Order Form, but please feel free to call, fax or mail in your order if you do not wish to order online. This information can be obtained from Contact Us . Choose the method that you are most comfortable with. Within the Order Form, you just need to fill out the total quantity you wish to purchase and the frequency according to Groups (Group A, B, C & D). We will then select the species according to the "permitted import species list" from your local Wildlife department (supplied by you). All species are grouped according to prices (Group A, B, C & D). To find out our pricing, you just need look into customer service within Tropical Entomological House.
  • There will be a minimum quantity of 100pcs per order per month for butterfly pupae and no minimum for invertebrates. You can choose to receive them weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Our usual weekly shipment days are on Monday and Friday all year round.
  • All butterfly pupae order will be treated as an assortment order. Due to the reason that we are dealing with Mother Nature, we can not be certain that production of each species can be of 100%. Therefore, from the list of species you have selected (by group), we will for every shipment arrange the assortment according to groups i.e. an average of 25% from group "B" and the rest from Group "A". However you can order more from either group but subject to adequate prior notice and stock availability.
  • A minimum of 4-weeks advance notice is required for any newly committed order of butterfly pupae and invertebrates in order for us to program our breeding accordingly. However, there could be incidental exception whereby we happen to have excess stock.
  • We require one week in advance to obtain all the necessary export paperwork such as export permit, health certificate, CITES permit and etc.
  • When you have finished filling out the Order Form, we will reply you with a schedule confirmation letter.
